------January 6: Shenghua (Group) Company, the predecessor of Shenghua Group Holding Co., Ltd., was nominated Zhejiang Pioneer Township Enterprise by the Township Enterprise Administrative Bureau of Zhejiang.
-----January 12: President of the Board, Mr. Xia Shilin, together with Hu Jingjing, President of the local government and Mr. Zhao Laifa, Chairman of Zhongguan, was welcomed and interviewed by Cheng Siwei in Beijing, Vice-chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of China Democratic National Construction Association.
------January 17: Shenghua (Group) Company was endowed with the third place in Ningbo Cup for Ideological & Political Innovation 1999 of Zhejiang, which was signaled afterwards by the issuance of an award by Zhejiang People's Government.
------January 18: Farmers' Daily published a news report headlined Click Shenghua Group on Internet, which was covered by Chief Editor of Shenghua News, focused on the development and research course of bio-chemicals for pharmaceutical and agricultural use, the all-out efforts made to promote Chinese agricultural improvement and the achievements obtained through technological innovation and reforming programs.
------February 7: Gui Shiyun, Head of the Research Office of Chinese Communist Party and Central Committee & State Council, along with Vice Mayor of Huzhou City, paid an on-site visit to Shenghua Group during the Spring Festival which is the very time especially for family union.

------February 25: Shenghua (Group) Company, the predecessor of Shenghua Group Holding Co., Ltd., made a breakthrough on profits before taxation with a margin of 100million RMB among the 63 enterprises in Huzhou.
------February 25: Shenghua (Group) Company, the predecessor of Shenghua Group Holding Co., Ltd., ranked itself on the terms of total turnover among the first three of the 50 most competitive industries and enterprises in Huzhou.
-------February 26: Maduramicin, an antibiotic medicine being manufactured by Zhejiang Shenghua Biok Biology Co., Ltd. which is exclusively owned by Shenghua Group, was endowed with the first prize in Huzhou Star-Light Programs 1999.
------February 26: The Excellence Prize on the terms of Top 10 Exporters in Huzhou 1999 was bestowed on Group Company.
------February 26: The title of the Top Foreign-invested Enterprise was bestowed on Deqing Huanyuan Pigment Co., Ltd.
-------March 1: Huzhou Yunfeng Decorating Materials Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited, launched its third modification program. When the program lived up to expectations, the daily output would be rising up to 18,000 pieces.
-----March 20: A bronze board with Ethic Unit on was donated to Shenghua (Group) Company by Huzhou Municipality.

------June 1: Huzhou Yunfeng Decorating Materials Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited and one of the pillar companies of the Group, obtained an ISO9002 Certificate on the terms of international quality assurance system.

-------July 2: In cooperation with China Pesticide Industry Association and Deqing Communications Information Center, Zhejiang Shenghua Biok Biology Co., Ltd. obtained Internet access and opened the website of China Chemicals for Agricultural Use.
------July 13: The Group Company collaborated with Zhejiang Mass Art Gallery, Zhejiang Calligraphy Research Association and Zhongguan Cultural Center and successfully held Shenghua Cup, Zhejiang Youth Calligraphy Competition.
-------July 18: Former Huzhou Yunfeng Decorating Materials Co., Ltd., successfully developed a new type of decorating material featuring the lowest Formaldehyde radiation index and being environmental-friendly. The invention was listed into Zhejiang New Product Development Program 2000.
------August 25: Shenghua Group Huzhou Zr Valley Science & Technology Limited became the third company that obtained an ISO 9002 certificate on terms of international quality management system.
-------Shenghua Group Huzhou Yunfeng Decorating Materials Co., Ltd., currently named Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited, collaborated with Zhejiang Forestry Institute to set up Shenghua Yunfeng Scholarship and a management agreement was signed at the conclusion of the ceremony.
------September 7: A report concerning about negative effects on environment to be caused by the integrated and automatic program for pharmaceuticals was demonstratively finalized.
------September 22: The environmental-friendly & ultrathin wooden overlay composite board independently developed by Yunfeng was qualified technologically.
-----September 26: Director of the Board appeared on the cover page of The World of Enterprise Edition 9, 2000. -----September 28: Abamectin, the Biok-named product manufactured by Zhejiang Shenghua Biok Biology Co., Ltd., found itself among the list of Name Brand posted up in Zhejiang.
----October 6: Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited was officially established and licensed into business with reference to Incorporation Law.
------December 19: Deqing Huanyuan Pigment Co., Ltd. reached an agreement with a Japanese Company on the introduction of foreign investments which symbolizes a zero breakthrough.
------October 13: The reportage headlined Yunfeng New Materials Limited Challenging Invisible Killer appeared on the front cover of Zhejiang Economic Daily. The news story was covered and reported jointly by Xinhua News reporter and Zhejiang Economic Daily journalist. It created waves and fueled up the development of environmental-friendly decorating materials.
------October 14: Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited became officially an ISO 9002 registered company and meanwhile the first that obtained a BQR nod on the terms of USA standard.
------November 8: The biochemical pesticide Gibb-purine 3.6% EC with the trade name of Baofengling developed by its affiliate won a prize on terms of technological innovation initiated by Zhejiang Enterprise Technological Innovation Fund.
----November 15: The title of Outstanding Enterprise was bestowed on Shenghua (Group) Company (Currently named Shenghua Group Holding Co., Ltd.) by Zhejiang Provincial Government.
------December 6: Promotional activities against environmental-friendly overlay decorating board were organized by Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited in People's Great Hall unprecedentedly not only for Yunfeng but for enterprises in Deqing.
------December 9: Colistin Sulfate was qualified on terms of Provincial-level New Product Listing Program.
------December 12: Shenghua (Group) Company Labor Union, Employees' Art Committee of Huzhou General Labor Union and Deqing General Labor Union signed officially an agreement on mutual construction of enterprise culture which signaled the end of cultural depression and the starting of cultural diversity and prosperity.
