-----January 2: Shenghua Biok, a listed company, was honored the top on terms of share index with the markup soaring up to record high at 153.18% in 2000.
-----February 10: Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited put up an ad on CCTV2 by introducing the independently developed and environmental-friendly overlay decorating board for the purpose of enterprise image establishment.
------February 20: Deqing Huanyuan Pigment Limited launched advertising programs in Hangzhou.
-----February 25: The Academic Commission of Enterprise Technological Development and Research Center headed by Zhang Qisheng, an academician of the State Academy of Science, was officially set up in cooperation with Zhejiang Yunfeng Green & New Materials Limited.

------October 11: Shenghua refurbished 4 national new records:
Colistin sulfate, a new antibiotic medicine against gram-negative bacteria developed by Shenghua Biok in 1999, filled domestic void.
The overlay decorating board with trade name of Moganshan, which features the low level of formaldehyde not more than 10mg/100g and meets Grade E of EC requirements, filled domestic void.
Gibb-purine 3.6% EC, a biochemical pesticide developed by Shenghua Biok in 1996, and its formulated products were intended for use against insects on apple trees, vegetables and many other crops. The high efficiency made Shenghua Biok the unique production base for biochemical pesticides.
Deqing Huayuan Pigment Limited positioned itself at the top among its counterparts for the annual capacity of iron oxide that amounted to 30,000 metric tons.
------October 17: The ultra-overlay board, developed by Yunfeng, was qualified in Zhejiang.
------October 18: It was announced on the session of Zhejiang Scientific & Technological Progress Award that Colistin sulfate, being exclusively produced by Shenghua Biok, and Moganshan-branded overlay decorating board, patently produced by Yunfeng, were found in the list posted up.
-----November 5: A reportage headlined The Development Course of Shenghua Group appeared on the column of Qianjiang Spoondrifts of Zhejiang News Daily.
------November 14: Zhejiang Shenghua Biok received an Establishment Inspection Report that signaled the completion of Pre-approval Inspection that was launched by FDA.

------December 1: A trans-regional renting program was operated smoothly by Yunfeng and an agreement granting use and occupation of Mountainous Wood Industry during a specified period in exchange for a specified rent was reached between Yunfeng and Anhui Province.

-----December 18: Director of the Board, Mr. Xia Shilin, and the bank president of the Industrial and Commercial Bank in Zhejiang Huzhou, Mr. Tian Dazhang, signed an agreement entitled A Scheme of All-dimensional Comprehensive Services in Hangzhou. It demonstratively took the initial step.
------December 19: Huayuan Pigment Limited and a Japanese company signed a foreign-investment agreement officially that signaled a zero breakthrough in Zhongguan.
-------December 23: The restructuring program was successfully accomplished and Shenghua (Group) Company changed its name to Shenghua Group Holding Co., Ltd.
------December 31: The year 2001 saw Shenghua Group a growing business indicating that the Group maintained a momentum of development and all economic indice showed a crawling upward trend. The total turnover amounted to 1.258 billion against RMB and the sales income 1.178 billion RMB. The foreign currency earnings reached 420 million RMB. The interests and taxes together were 156.7438 million RMB with a profit margin of 99.51 million against RMB. The growth rate of each economic index was 15%, 2%, 109%, 45 and 11% respectively compared to the same period of the previous year. Shenghua Group has been crowned the leader enterprise for 4 successive years in Huzhou.
